This year is the first year we will be hosting a Charity Wing Walk event. Our first date, Saturday the 20th June, sold out within 24 hours HOWEVER, due to personal reasons we have 1 place available for this date.![]()

Wishes 4 Kids have very kindly been donated free tickets from our friends at Circus Starr for our wish children and their families to enjoy. Their spectacular Circus performance will take place on Saturday 23rd May 2026 at Judgemeadow Community College in Evington. There will be 2 performances on the day which start at 1:30pm and 4:00pm.![]()

This week we had the pleasure of meeting an amazing young boy and his lovely mother. His wish was for a new iPad so that he could play his favourite games and watch cartoons. As he loves bright colours, we bought him a brand new yellow iPad, yellow headphones and an orange protective case. He was so happy and gave us the biggest smile❤️
MANCHESTER MARATHON 2027![]()
Following on from our post yesterday, who would like to take part in the Manchester Marathon on Sunday 18th April 2027? This is the second largest marathon in the UK and public places for next year have already sold out.![]()
This event would normally cost you £205 to enter but if you run for us then your entry fee would be just £60 with a minimum fundraising target of only £450.![]()

WISHES 4 KIDS CHARITY GOLF DAY![]()
Our Charity Golf Day will take place at Kilworth Springs Golf Club on Friday 24th July 2026. ![]()
Arrival from 10:30am, with a shotgun start at 12:00.![]()
£65 per person, teams of 4, which includes:![]()
* Bacon roll + tea/coffee on arrival![]()
* 18 holes of golf ![]()
* BBQ supper in the evening which will include a burger, sausage, chicken, new potatoes, salad and coleslaw (veggie option also available).![]()
There will be several individual challenges such as Nearest the Pin, Longest Drive and also Beat the Pro.![]()
As well as all of this there will be a tombola, an auction (any prizes would be hugely appreciated) and a trophy presentation.![]()

Last weekend we granted a very special wish for an incredible young lady whose wish was to meet the band Skillet who are an American Christian rock band. We sent her and her family for an overnight stay in Manchester where she got to meet her favourite band for over 30 minutes before they were due to perform. She was then able to watch the whole performance from the VIP seating area where they let her have control of the lighting!!![]()
During the performance, Skillet told everyone in the audience about the young lady and everything she has been through and then dedicated her favourite song to her (see video below). The entire audience turned around and clapped and cheered our young lady and it was something that her and her family will never ever forget❤️

You are all amazing and have worked so hard over the last few months with both your training and incredible fundraising efforts. Last week we had the pleasure of visiting this amazing young boy and his mum at their home. He thought we were visiting to discuss his recent wish application and had come round for a chat. Not to ruin a nice surprise, we had a lovely chat with him without revealing what we had already booked for him!!! ![]()
Last Saturday his parents told him they were visiting family for the day so off they went in their car. Unbeknown to him, they headed to West Midlands Safari Park where we had booked for them an overnight stay in a Lion Accessible Safari Lodge. He had absolutely no idea and was speechless when they arrived. The family had the most amazing weekend, enjoying all of the entertainment that the park had to offer including their own VIP sea-lion show. This young boy is truly incredible and we were delighted that, with your help, we were able to make his wish come true❤️

We had the pleasure of meeting this amazing young girl and her lovely family recently. Her wish was for a Macbook Neo which is a brand new product that has only just been launched. We were able to buy her a brand new MacBook Neo in her favourite colour 'blush' and also a brand-new pink case. She was so grateful and you can see by the huge smile on her face just how much it meant to her❤️
Last weekend we were able to grant the wishes of 2 lovely children who both loved lions and wanted to see one up close.![]()
We organised for them and their family to enjoy an overnight stay in a luxurious lion lodge at West Midlands Safari Park where they could see lots of lions from every window of their lodge. The family received VIP treatment during their stay including full access to everywhere in the park, all of the different shows and the Safari drive-through. The family were so grateful having experienced 'the best 2 days ever' and 'more amazing then they could have ever imagined'❤️
After a very long wait, we were finally able to grant the wish of a very special little girl. This is the message we received from her lovely family:![]()
We had the absolute best time at CBeebies Hotel, Alton towers and splash landings. Isabella's wish came true, she absolutely loved it, as did her brothers, her dad and I.![]()
Isabella being in hospital for 1 1/2 years had such a huge impact not only on Isabella but also her brothers . To have a family fun time was such a refreshing break from all the medical stuff .![]()
So a huge thank you from us! Although massive to organise with meds, carers, oxygen etc - it was totally worth it ! .![]()

Wishes 4 Kids had the great pleasure of meeting this amazing young man recently and granting his wish for a new gaming laptop. With the help of our incredible supporters we were able to buy him a brand new Alienware 16 Aurora Gaming Laptop and a Mosiso 360 protective case. The young man was so happy and grateful, as was his lovely mother who could not thank us enough❤️
This week we met this amazing young man and were able to grant his wish for a new Xbox. We bought him a brand new Xbox Series X and treated him to some gift cards for both Xbox and Roblox so he could buy his favourite games. We then surprised him with an extra ‘Ice Breaker’ controller and a brand-new monitor. He was so happy and completely lost for words and it was lovely to see how much everything meant to him. Thank you to all of our incredible supporters who help us to create magical moments like this❤️

Harley has been obsessed with Back to the Future for years especially the musical, yesterday we was taken for a day out in London first class on a brand new train, done lots of sight seeing, lunch in Pizza Hut, going to see Back to the Future musical then dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe,The biggest surprise of all was Harley getting to go back stage to meet Marty & Doc![]()
They were so good with Harley even gave him a prop from the show which they signed. The staff at the Adelphi Theatre also went out their way to make his day extra special, they gave him a goody bag full of back to the future gifts, and kept coming over asking if he was having a good time. At the end they were standing with us tell Harley they were waiting for everyone to leave before we could leave as it’s very busy, but really they were waiting to take us back stage.

Last Saturday the Bulls Head Cosby Darts Team organised a 12 hour Charity Darts Marathon for Wishes 4 Kids. Players from the men's and women's team took part, along with some of the locals and supporters of our Charity. A special mention must go to Cody who is only 9 years old and joined in for over 8 hours, showing the 'pros' how it is done. The event was a huge success with lots of laughs throughout the day. We would like to thank everyone who played, everyone who took part in our tombola and to Paul and Gaynor from the Bulls Head Cosby for such a lovely donation, helping the event raise an incredible £800.
We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who came to our Charity Race Night last Friday. A very special thank you must go to Paula McAllister and Michael Davison for organising the event and for all of their hard work, to Gary Reeves for all of his help getting over £1500 worth of prizes for our auction race, to everyone who sponsored a race, to our amazing volunteers who were in charge of the betting stations and to the Leicester Lions for their wonderful hospitality once again. It was a brilliant night enjoyed by all and the profit from the event was an incredible £3604.61. Your kindness and support has enabled us to grant the wishes of 3 very special local children. THANK YOU❤️
CHARITY RACE NIGHT![]()
Our Charity Race Night is just 1 week away, taking place in our new home at Leicester Lions RFC on Friday 27th March. There will be 9 races in total and you will be able to bet on each race on the night (Cash only). This will be a fun-filled evening of racing, laughter and great food.![]()

Wishes 4 Kids have a Charity Curry Night booked for Monday 23rd March. This will be at the Cuisine of India in Wigston, starting from 7pm. It is £20 per person (under 10's are half price) which gives you an all you can eat 3-course buffet. There will also be a raffle full of excellent prizes and we will play a few games.![]()

On Sunday 8th March we proudly invited our wish children and their families to our new home for our 'Greatest Showman Welcome Party'. It was a fantastic event which was enjoyed by everyone who attended. We would like to say a huge thank you to Dolly Betsy events for your decorations, Non Stop Kids for your wonderful entertainment, EAGA Gospel Choir for your incredible performance, Jimmy Johnson for your brilliant songs, our fantastic team at both Wishes 4 Kids and the Leicester Lions for all of your help and support and last but definitely not least all of our amazing wish children and families who made our day so special. We loved seeing each and everyone of you and we look forward to many more parties and fun times in our new home with you all❤️
