A big thank you must go to everyone at the Little Theatre for all of their help, support and hospitality. Last but certainly not least, we would like to thank the real stars of the show who are our wish children. You are all fantastic and we love it every time we organise these events and get to see you all.

This young lady loves Disney and her wish was to go to Disney on Ice. Last Friday we granted her wish by taking her and her family to watch Disney on Ice at the Motorpoint Arena in Nottingham. The show was spectacular from start to finish with magical appearances from all of her favourite Disney characters including Mickey, Minnie, The Little Mermaid, Moana, Elsa and many many more. The young lady had a brilliant day and it was a great pleasure to have been able to grant her wish❤️
Last weekend we had the absolute pleasure of sending this very special little girl and her lovely family for a 3 day, VIP, trip to Disneyland Paris. The family stayed in the Newport Bay Hotel and enjoyed 3 magical days full of different rides, shows, parades and most importantly meeting all of the different Disney characters in the park. The girl's favourite character was Woody and we secretly arranged for her to have a private meeting with Woody (and Buzz came along to say hello too) and she could not stop smiling the entire time. The family enjoyed every single minute of their trip and were extremely grateful to everyone who looked after them whilst they were there❤️

Wishes 4 Kids recently granted a very special wish for this lovely little girl. She loves animals, especially Cheetah's and her wish was to go to West Midlands Safari Park so that she could see one. We sent her and her family for an overnight stay in a luxurious 2-storey Cheetah Lodge where they were able to watch the Cheetah's playing right outside their window. The family received full access to everything in the park and were able to enjoy all of the rides, attractions and animal shows. Their Drive-through safari was amazing as they were able to go in early and get very close to all of the different animals.
The family had the most amazing time and were very grateful for such a magical opportunity❤️❤️
Last Saturday Wishes 4 Kids granted the wish for this incredible young man who wanted to go to a Leicester City game. We booked for him and his Dad to enjoy VIP, Hospitality treatment in the Champions Club where they were very well looked after before kick off. During this time, our Patron Alan Birchenall entered the room, recognised our young man and invited him pitchside and then backstage where he got to meet the entire team and have photos with them all. It was a truly magical moment that he will never forget and the huge smile on his face says it all. The young man then got to watch the match from a special VIP Box and although Leicester City lost, his beaming smile remained throughout.
After the match had finished the family returned to the Champions Club where they met Ricardo Pereira who chatted to our young man and had his photo with him again.
We would like to say a huge thank you to Leicester City and Alan Birchenall for their kindness and support and to our Ambassador Richard Bebbington for looking after the family the entire time and making sure everything ran smoothly.
Thank you to everyone involved for making a very special young man's wish come true❤️
We recently granted this amazing young man's wish for an overnight stay at Chessington World of Adventures. He stayed in a Capri Sun themed room which had a view of the wanyama where he was able to watch the animals playing. The family were able to enjoy all of the different rides and attractions that the park had to offer and they all had a lovely time.
Thank you to all of our incredible supporters who enable us to make wishes like this come true.

Her wish was to go to Disneyland and with your help we sent her and her family for a 3 day, VIP trip to Disneyland Paris. The family received extra special treatment everywhere they went and were taken to the very front of every single ride and attraction and to every Disney character that they wanted to meet. They were all blown away by the love and support that everyone showed them and they made magical memories together as a family.
This is another example of what your support means to our Charity and more importantly the children who we support. THANK YOU❤️❤️
Wishes 4 Kids granted the wish for this lovely young lady who wanted a hot air ballon ride. We booked a flight for her and her family, through Virgin Balloon Experiences, where they took off from Rutland Water and enjoyed the stunning scenery below them. After a few cancelled attempts, due to the great British weather, her wish finally took place recently and it was well worth the wait. WE DID IT!!. On Sept 9th, after a long and tiring summit climb, Gary, Michelle, Richard, Hemant and Dylan plus the amazing Team Giraffe achieved what we all set out to do and reached the very top of Mt. Kilimanjaro.
Our journey lasted 7 days and every minute was filled with breath-taking views as well as a lot of laughs and wonderful conversations with our brilliant team. The journey was more than any of us could’ve ever wished for and was made extra special due to the incredible Altezza Travel team who looked after us every step of the way. We made friends for life and it was both an honour and a pleasure to share our journey with such an amazing group of people❤️![]()
Thank you so much to everyone who has supported our journey and helped us to raise such a wonderful amount of money for Wishes 4 Kids❤️![]()

Janine Bates![]()
It is with great sadness we announce that our dear friend and colleague Janine Bates sadly passed away on Tuesday 19th August. Janine worked voluntarily for our Charity for nearly 23 years, dedicated to putting smiles on the faces of our wish children and helping them to create magical memories that will last forever. Janine was a wonderful, kind, selfless lady who had the biggest heart and would do anything for anyone. She will be sorely missed by everyone who knew her and she will never be forgotten❤️
On Tuesday Wishes 4 Kids invited 100 wish children, along with their families, to attend our spectacular Race Day at Everyman Racing at Prestwold Hall. Each child enjoyed being driven around the race track at very high speeds in their very best supercars which included an Ariel Atom, Nissan GTR, Aston Martin DB9, Ferrari 430 and Lamborghini. The children were fearless and just wanted to go faster and faster!!! Each ride was recorded and every child was given a free memory stick to keep so that they can watch back each of their fast rides. We were also joined by our friends at the Police who bought a Police car and Police vans for the children to sit in and our the Loughborough Fire Service who showed the children around their Fire Engines.
We cannot thank the staff at Everyman Racing enough for all of their hard work, hospitality and care shown to each and every child. The whole team were amazing, including all of the drivers who could not do enough for our children. The reaction on every single child’s face shows how much the day meant to them. We would also like to say a very big thank you to Paul McKenna for the incredible photos (all photos can be found on a separate post) and to our amazing volunteers for all of their help on the day.
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their experience and we hope it is something that our families will remember forever❤️
Our latest wish was to send an incredible little girl and her lovely family for a 3 day VIP stay at Disneyland Paris. We picked them up from the airport last night and it was heartwarming to see how happy they all were and what their magical experience meant to them all. The family sent us this message:![]()
I wanted to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude for everything you and the team have done in granting our daughter's wish. What you gave her—and us as a family—was so much more than a gift. It was a time of pure joy, and we will cherish those memories forever.
Hearing the kids’ laughter and seeing them enjoy themselves—something we once feared we might never see—was truly priceless. You gave us all memories overflowing with happiness and love.
Please know that everyone’s kindness has touched our hearts in ways words can't describe. We will always remember your generosity and the warmth behind it.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for making a dream come true.
With sincere appreciation❤️
On Saturday Wishes 4 Kids had the pleasure of spending the day with this adorable little boy and his lovely family. His wish list was to meet Paddington Bear, to ride on a London double decker bus OR to go on a train. We picked up the family from their home and we all travelled to London via first class train. We visited the Paddington Experience where conveniently it was 'Marmalade Day' and we travelled from Paddington Station to 32 Windsor Gardens before ending up in Peru. The experience finished with a meet and greet with Paddington Bear. We then had a tour of London on an open top bus before visiting Buckingham Palace and finishing with a shopping trip to Hamley's.
It was such a special day and we loved watching how happy the children were and how much it all meant to the whole family❤️
