There is nothing more amazing than a child’s face when their wish is being granted. To see the excitement overtake the suffering of a child is to see the real objective of a wish being achieved.

It is with a very heavy heart that we have to inform you that Russell Brickett – founder of the Wishes 4 Kids Children’s Charity, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Thursday the 19th of April 2018. Russell launched the Charity on the 6th of September 2002 with the aim of granting wishes for very poorly, local children of 18 years and below. Russell’s vision was that a wish granted would provide a time of happiness and joy for a child and their family that were experiencing a difficult time. This vision has been realized in that the Charity has now granted over 5000 children’s wishes and his memory will continue to live on whilst we strive to grant as many more wishes as possible. Russell invited the children and their families into the Charity and made it his mission in life to make them happy, even if only for a day. For all of those families that Russell has been involved with you will know how much you all meant to him and we know how much he meant to you. Russell’s wife, Wendy and his daughter, Tamasyn would like to thank everyone for their condolences and kind thoughts.
