Wishes 4 Kids is a Leicester and Leicestershire children's charity dedicated to granting life-changing wishes for local children and young people aged 18 and under who are living with life-limiting or terminal illnesses, have experienced life-changing physical or emotional trauma, or have suffered abuse.
Every child deserves moments of happiness, hope and unforgettable memories. While we cannot take away their illness or erase the challenges they face, we can give them something truly special—a wish that brings joy, laughter and precious time with the people they love most.
Since our charity was founded, Wishes 4 Kids has granted more than 8,000 wishes for children across Leicester and Leicestershire. From magical family experiences and dream holidays to meeting heroes, unforgettable days out and once-in-a-lifetime surprises, every wish is designed to create lasting memories during some of life's most difficult times.
For a child, having a wish come true is far more than receiving a gift or enjoying a special day. It is a chance to smile without fear, laugh without worry and simply be a child again. For parents, carers and siblings, these precious moments become cherished memories that last forever—moments when, even if only for a short time, illness and hardship are replaced by happiness, hope and togetherness.
