Yesterday 24 very brave souls took part in our Tandem Parachute event at Hinton Skydiving Centre. Despite a few nervous looking faces, everybody completed their jump from an incredible 13,000ft. It was a brilliant day and we honestly cannot thank each of you enough for supporting our Charity and for being AMAZING!!! We would also like to say a huge thank you to Paul McKenna for the fantastic photos.![]()

Our friends at Leicester DeMontfort Rotary have once again very kindly offered our wish families a Fun Day out at Wicksteed Park in Kettering. This will take place on Wednesday 11th June and our families will be able to enjoy the whole park, all of the different attractions and also a free picnic lunch. Wishes 4 Kids have very kindly been donated free tickets from our friends at Circus Starr for our 'wish' children and their families to enjoy. Their spectacular Circus performance will take place on Thursday 29th May 2025 at Judgemeadow Community College in Evington. There will be 2 performances on the day which start at 4:45pm and 7:00pm.![]()

This lovely young lady is fanatical about supercars and her wish was to go to a Supercar Festival. Last weekend we were able to grant her wish and sent her and her family to Supercar Fest the Runway in Northamptonshire. There she was able to watch all of the different displays and parades and get close to all of her favourite cars. As you can see, she had the most amazing day and was in 'Supercar heaven'.
Gary Lowe is organising a Charity Quiz Night which will take place on Friday 30th May at the Leicester Lions Rugby Club in Blaby. Tickets are £15 per person which gives you the quiz plus a hot meal - either fish cake & chips, jumbo sausage & chips or vegetarian sausage & chips (all with the option of curry sauce)![]()
Arrival is from 7pm for a 7:30pm start.![]()

Last year we hosted our first ever Extreme Abseil event at the National Lift Tower in Northampton. This is the LARGEST abseil tower in the world at 418ft. The event proved so popular with everyone that we are doing it again this year. ![]()
We have 12 places available for our next event on Saturday 5th July. Children as young as 12 years old can take part so why not make this a family event (unless the adults are too scared)??![]()
The maximum weight limit is 21.5 stone (310lbs)![]()

Gary's Charity Curry Night is taking place tonight at the Cuisine of India in Wigston. Due to a late cancellation we have 5/6 places available if anyone would like a night off cooking and to come along? It starts at 7pm and it is £20 per person (under 10's are half price) which gives you an all you can eat 3-course buffet. This week we granted this amazing little boy's wish. He loves animals and asked for an overnight stay at West Midlands Safari Park. We booked for him and his family to stay in a luxurious 2-storey Giraffe Lodge where they were able to sit on their balcony and watch the giraffes wake up, have their breakfast and roam around right in front of them. The family received full access to everything in the park and were able to enjoy all of the different rides, attractions and shows. Their Drive-through safari was amazing as they were able to go in early and got very close to all of the different animals.![]()
The family had the most amazing time and made memories that they will cherish forever, describing it as 'an incredible experience from start to finish'.

We recently had the great pleasure of meeting this lovely little boy and granting his wish for a new iPad. We bought him a brand new iPad Air 11 generation with plenty of storage so that he download all of his favourite games. He was so happy when we met him at his house and it was wonderful to see how much it meant to him.
GREAT NORTH RUN 2025![]()
Wishes 4 Kids have 5 places available for this year's Great North Run (GNR), taking place on Sunday 7th September. The ballot for this event closed back in January and all successful places, via the GNR, have already been allocated.![]()
We will not charge you a registration fee but will ask you to commit to a minimum fundraising target of £400.![]()

MANCHESTER MARATHON - SUNDAY 19TH APRIL 2026![]()
Were you inspired watching the London Marathon last weekend? Is a marathon on your bucket list? There is only a 4% chance of being successful in the London Marathon ballot so why not run the Manchester Marathon instead? It is the 2nd largest marathon in the UK and also the flattest. This event will sell out so if you would like to take part and help raise vital funds for our Charity then we strongly recommend securing you place ASAP.![]()

This amazing young lady loves animals and her wish was for an overnight stay in a lodge at West Midlands Safari Park. We were able to grant her wish by booking her and her family an overnight stay in a 2-storey, accessible Elephant Lodge. The family received gold wristbands which meant they had full access to everything which included the Safari Drive-through, admission to the park and all of the different rides and attractions. The best part was the breathtaking views of the elephants from their accommodation. To sit and watch them roaming their habitats was truly magical and the young lady loved every minute of it❤️
We recently had the great pleasure of granting this little boy's wish to go to Centre Parcs. We sent him and his family for a 4 day, 3 night, stay in an executive woodland lodge at Sherwood Forest where they were able to enjoy a relaxing break as well as taking part in the many activities that the park had to offer. This included mini jet skis, kayaking and unlimited access to the Subtropical Swimming Paradise. The family really did make the most of their stay and the little boy was very happy.
Yesterday this very special little girl's dream came true - to be a reptile keeper at a zoo. We arranged for her and her parents to visit Crocodiles of the World in Oxfordshire where their amazing staff welcomed the family and gave the little girl a reptile keeper experience that she will never forget. She started by feeding a binturong before going inside the meerkat enclosure where the meerkats kept jumping on her lap to eat the mealworms. She then sat with the giant Galapagos tortoises and fed them lots of salad. The highlight for the little girl was when she held a baby crocodile. She was so happy and her little face lit up every time she met a different reptile. ![]()

This week we had the pleasure of spending the day with this amazing young lady and her family and took them to the Harry Potter Exhibition at Warner Bros Studios. They were able to learn all about the making of Harry Potter, fly on magical wands and visit Platform 9 3/4. After a lovely meal and a well deserved butter beer, we headed to 4 Privet Drive, Gringotts Bank and Diagon Alley as well as pulling out a screaming Mandrake from Professor Sprout's greenhouse. It was an incredible day and one that the young lady will never forget.
WOW. What an amazing weekend we have just had with this incredible young lady and her lovely family. Her wish was to watch the Phantom of the Opera at the theatre. On Saturday we picked up the family and drove them to London where we checked in to luxury apartments. We enjoyed a wonderful meal together at the Hard Rock Cafe before heading to His Majesty's Theatre for the show. Unbeknown to the young lady we had arranged a surprise meet and greet with some of the cast before the performance. We were taken behind the scenes where we saw all of the different props and then we headed to the dressing room. This is where the magic happened and we were greeted by the Phantom, Christine and Raoul. We could not have wished to have met 3 nicer people, who were all so kind and it was the best feeling ever to see how much it meant to the young lady. Raoul had also gone out of his way to make her her very own, personally embroidered, Phantom of the Opera bag with her name on. This was full of all kinds of different memorabilia that the young lady loved. ![]()
After the speculator performance we were then invited back to the dressing room to meet the Phantom again which was just the perfect ending to a truly magical day. Yesterday we enjoyed a sightseeing day in London which included visiting Buckingham Palace, Tower Bridge and St Pauls Cathedral.![]()
It was a pleasure to spend the weekend with such an inspirational young lady and her family and to witness how much her wish meant to her. We cannot thank everyone at the Phantom of the Opera enough for the love and kindness that they showed to us, giving such a deserving family memories that will stay with them forever.❤️

On Sunday we had 8 runners taking part in the London Landmarks Half Marathon and Joe Fox who took part in the Brighton Marathon. Our latest wish was for this beautiful little girl and her lovely family who we sent for an overnight stay at Flamingo Land Resort in North Yorkshire. The family enjoyed full access to the entire park which included lots of different rides and roller coasters and their award winning zoo. They stayed in a luxury 4 berth cottage with a hot tub and the little girl loved every minute of her very special wish.![]()
