Do you remember our post a few weeks ago when we told you about Michaela Korizek who challenged herself to do a virtual run to her parents house in the Czech Republic, 877 miles away?
Well we have caught up with Michaela, not literally as she is far too quick for us, and she has now ran over 208 miles which currently puts her in the English Channel.
As part of her running Michaela recently took part in the Leicester Half Marathon and has been getting lots of support from her wonderful son.
We want to thank Michaela for her amazing effort so far and for continuing her incredible journey, especially on the difficult days when she is tired and in pain. We are all so proud of you and wish you all the best for the rest of your journey.

Thank you so much to 4 incredible children; Jess, Daisy, Mia, and Archie, who all took part in our virtual Easter Bunny Run last week. They all completed a 5km route and raised an unbelievable £237.00.

Michaela Korizek has set herself a huge challenge – to do a virtual run to her parents house. The only problem is they live in the Czech Republic, 877 miles away!!!
Michaela started 1 week ago and has already ran over 70 miles, which is incredible. We will keep in touch with Michaela throughout her virtual journey and let everyone know how she is getting on.

We have had a fantastic response to our first ever virtual Easter Bunny Fun Run. Thank you to everyone who has been in touch so far and asked us for sponsor forms.
If you would like to take part and complete a 5km walk or run on a course of your choice and raise money for Wishes 4 Kids at the same time, then please contact us on 0116 2543491 for our Charity sponsor form.
The challenge can be completed anytime between Friday the 2nd and Monday the 5th of April.

Old Mill Primary School in Broughton Astley have been supporting Wishes 4 Kids in their 5 MILLION Step Challenge. This involves a number of amazing teachers attempting to walk a combined total of 5 million steps in 2 weeks.
Every single step matters and one on their teachers have been combining her steps with litter picking outside the school.
They started their challenge on Monday 8th March and in the first week have already walked an incredible 2,752,636 steps between them. Their challenge will end on Monday 22nd March.

The wait is over.
Parin Suchak, an ambassador and long time supporter of our Charity, has worked tirelessly creating a new music album which is now available. The album is amazing and Parin has already sold over 300 copies, with all proceeds going to Wishes 4 Kids.
