We would like to say a huge THANK YOU to Beedles Lake Golf Club who hosted a Race Night on Friday 28th September for Wishes 4 Kids. It raised an amazing £1425 and a wonderful night was had by all.

On July 1st Hinckley Leisure Centre held a trampolining event with the winner going on to receive the Wishes 4 Kids Trampolining Trophy. A huge well done to everyone who took part and a special congratulations to Kate Weston who won the event. You should all be very proud of yourselves.

A huge thank you to Langton Brewery who chose Wishes 4 Kids as their nominated charity at their Summer beer festival on the 13th-15th July. An amazing £1200 was presented to us from Langton, £423.20 was made from our tombola and a further £37.72 was collected from public donations.
We are also extremely grateful to all of our volunteers who gave up a lot of time to support us once again

Due to many of you already booking your place for this year’s Leicester marathon we have decided to NOT buy any places for this year but to get heavily involved with it in future years. However if you are running in this event and would still like to raise money for Wishes 4 Kids then we would be more than grateful. If this is the case then please get in touch with us and we can send you sponsor forms and a Wishes 4 Kids running vest if you desire.

Have you ever thought about running a half marathon or even a full marathon? Well if so then why not run the Leicester Marathon for Wishes 4 Kids. This event is on Sunday 14th October. The cost of your entrance fee will be covered providing you can commit to raising a MINIMUM of £100.

We currently have 1287 people ‘like’ our page which is fantastic. Can we double this figure? We are forever thinking of new ideas and ways to fundraise and it would be great to reach as many people as we can.

Congratulations and many thanks to all those who took part in our annual tandem parachute jump at the Hinton Skydive Centre on 15 July. We managed to raise in excess of £7,000 which will enable us to grant a number of wishes for children in Leicester and Leicestershire. A great day was had by all and we look forward to seeing you all again next year.

Lakeside put on a wonderful Summer Fete yesterday raising money for Wishes 4 Kids.
A wonderful day was had by all and a fantastic £264.23 was raised from the raffle and very kind public donations.
