Hastings Direct held a Charity Match yesterday at The King Power Stadium where 18 of our Wish Children were invited to be Mascots. They all had a wonderful time and we would like to thank Hastings Direct for including us is their event.

Congratulations to all of our London Marathon runners. They are all safe and sound and recovering from their fantastic efforts on Sunday. Gary Ward is running the London Marathon for Wishes 4 Kids and is fundraising at Tesco in South Wigston on Saturday the 14th of April. He will be in store cycling from 8am until 8pm and would appreciate anyone visiting the store to go and support him.

The Wishes 4 Kids Tandem Parachute Jump is fast approaching. The closing date for registration is this Friday, the 13th of April 2018. We have 10 people who have registered and are guaranteed a place, they are, James Dronfield, Kamma Hvass, Kayleigh Odom, Ainur Raja, Allison Ramsay, Ellen Ramsay, Andrea Robinett, Denise Simms, Kevin Smith and Janna Ward. If you have not returned your registration forms you only have until Friday, please hurry. Anyone sending forms in after Friday will not be able to take part. We couldn’t do what we do without all of you and all of your support, it’s truly amazing how much you all give to the children and if they could give you all a hug they would. Gez Varney and all of his friends and supporters have raised a huge £35136.59 this year, added to last 2 years totals makes a phenomenal £85781.44 in the last 3 years. We cannot thank everyone who has supported Gez enough for all of their kindness and hard work in helping him to raise the funds that have meant that so many more poorly children have had their wishes granted. We are very lucky because we get to see the joy and happiness that each child shows when they have a wish granted, we can only tell you how much that means to them and their families.
